While leading the prayers, the chief imam of Jimba Oja Alhaji Shehu Abubakar and his contemporary Mallam AbdulRaheem Abubakr urge the congregation to be committed to good deeds for whatever an individual does will be rewarded here and there after.
The Chief Imam of Jimba Oja who also commends the unrelent efforts of the late Abdulrasaq Bello’s wife,Hajia Maryam Giwa-Bello for overseeing the home leaving behind pray to Allah to give the entire family fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
In their separate submissions,Radio Nigeria,Harmony FM Islamic public analysts, Sheik Ibrahim Oniluru and Sheikh Suleiman Dagbo recounts how Mallam Abdulrasaq Bello always request them to pray for his late mother, an act they describe as Allah’s command,advised Muslim ummah to always pray for their deceased.
Correspondent reports that after the official prayer organised by the family of the deceased,some other islamic clerics have been visiting the home of late late Abdulrasaq Bello unexpectly to offer prayers to his repose soul as many described him as God fearing individual who lived an exemplary life.
The one year remembrance preyer of late Veteran journalist who worked with Harmony 103 FM Idofian, a branch of Radio Nigeria in Kwara State until his death on the 27th of May 2024,was done in his home residence at Jimba Oja and joined by different people from all works of life through Zoom online meeting channel across the globe.
