Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule has hinted that, he is the only Muslim governor who returns to church to give thanks to God after his election as governor of the state in 2019.
He stated this at the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) while commissioning the ultra modern headquarters secretariat along Keffi road, Nassarawa state.
The governor who was represented by his special adviser on youths and sports, Mr. Kwanta Yakubu donated N5m to the project.
Governor Sule said his action was influenced by his background as a student of Roman Catholic Mission ( RCM ) Primary School, Gudi in 1968.
He called on all faith-based organizations to continuously support his administration as the state under his leadership will continue to carry everyone along to enhance peace, unity and development of the state.
Governor Sule said the government of the state recognises the contributions of the ERCC to the development of education, health, women and youth empowerment as well as leadership development programmes for the youth through the boys brigade and girls brigade programmes.
He added that the state government will continue to partner all faith-based organizations as veritable tools in the shaping of society for responsible citizenship and national patriotism for the promotion of peaceful co-existence in Nasarawa state.
